The Internet Marketing CauldronI’m sure a lot of you have now heard about the Wealthy Affiliate University since they have been in business since 2005, and it has become apparent that it’s not a scam, but a huge teaching ground for the world of Affiliate and Internet Marketing.

Now, I have been a chef for many years, and like many, have been unable to find steady work in these times, actually, for the first time in 17 years, crazy! But I have always talked about a new career but never took a chance, as I was formerly a busy man, and now see this spare time I have as an opportunity to start a new career, since I’m just 33, and in that I have chosen to become an Internet Marketer.

Why?

Well I believe I owe it to myself. I have worked long hours, 6 days a week for years, and to take a chance and hopefully, with a lot of hard work, I can eventually be able to work from at home, permanently.

What Do You Do?

That was the question. Being an avid writer, and wanting a career with writing, I went online, joined a few sites, and suddenly found a new passion that had been tucked away in writing. I’m also new to using computers so adds to the challenge. I eventually stumbled across Hub-pages, which again opened a door to a new world, Affiliate marketing, and as one door leads to another, I came across The Wealthy Affiliate programme.

Is This the Scam Of All Scams?

Of-course, that was the first question, anything promising you to make money online, the first thought is, here we go, scam. But, if you are clever, and not a gullible bone in your body, you ALWAYS do your home work, before signing up for anything online. And after about a month of research, I had a decision to make.

Is Wealthy Affiliate for Beginners?

Now, I had only heard about Affiliate Marketing a few months prior to my decision. What did I know about Internet Marketing. I can barely use a computer, have worked with my hands over half my life, would I be mad to start a new career I know nothing about at this age, and will I stick with it. Well, after this debate, I decided to make the move and sign up with The wealthy Affiliate University, known quite well I will be overwhelmed, but determination is a key factor to success.

Yes!

Is the answer to the question, Wealthy Affiliate is for beginners. It’s basically and online teaching programme, and if your serious about becoming an Affiliate, and want to learn the trade and all its tools, well this course has it all. It’s my 9th month as and Internet/ Affiliate Marketer, and I know it’s my future, and since joining this online community, It has been the best move, for the vast information inside is priceless.

It is a place I recommend, especially if you are starting out in this game and need guidance. You may be looking at a course, and what I would do is compare all the courses you are looking for and see what suits you. Some courses are seriously expensive and can just concentrate on a certain element of Marketing like Pay Per Click or Article Marketing etc. But WA thankfully covers every inch of every aspect of Internet Marketing, and without it, well I wouldn’t have built my first site (I now own 14 sites and grown) and wouldn’t of made my first bit of money online.

Take a look here at The Wealthy Affiliates Homepage and see what it is all about. Or for my own inside view, on this blog I have created a page here you can take a look at a simple view of what to expect, go to Where to Learn Your Trade page.

So good-luck with making your first step.
